Both are very stable but the briquettes produced a much longer burn time. It was about 250-260 on briquettes vs 290 on lump. ![]() It ran cooler on about the same vent setting. Had to shake the basket some but other than that it was set it and forget it. I still had plenty of fuel to keep going.įew things I noticed. I got 15 hours before I had to shut it down. Typically on lump its about 8-10 hours which is right about what the manufacturer says.
